It is fascinating to notice the advancement of technology over years and how largely it has left an impact on humans. Over time we have seen some amazing examples of the same. With the advancement in technology, specifically in the field of Communication, we have seen some vivid stories – both good & bad.
The ratio and duration of people communicating has increased over the years. This communication has indeed become stronger and more transparent be it personal, business, political or any other form. A noticeable exponential rise is seen in the way companies, users & even government shows interest in communicating openly over all major Social media platforms.
Twitter is one social network which the people and government are now using effectively & most efficiently. The crux of twitter is to give a direct attention in a minimalist way with no escape. Think of a huge carnival with lakhs of people present and everyone is listening to everyone.
The efficient use of Twitter is proven every single day by the users for personal communication or by the Police being aggressively active to keep an eye on the wrong doers or by the Government to solve people’s problems on a personal level. Think of the time 10 years back, can you recall any way to contact the ministers of your country for your personal grievances? No, right! With people becoming the priority, a one on one communication becomes vital.
Two Indian ministers come to my mind who have made a commendable use of social platforms especially Twitter to connect directly with the people – SMT. SUSHMA SWARAJ, Foreign Ministry & Mr. SURESH PRABHU, Railway Ministry
Both of them have taken huge efforts to change the way government works under Modi’s “Digital India”. Actions are taken immediately when a legit issue is tweeted by an individual. A lot of help has been extended with being Twitter the medium of communication. Its indeed in this way that the government becomes for the people.
Here are some awesome ways in which Smt. Sushma Swaraj & Mr. Suresh Prabhu helped a common man.
1.Helping a man recover his passport and advance money from his company abroad.
